<div dir="ltr"><b>Tier 2 Canada Research Chair in Integrated Watershed Management at Brandon University</b><br><br>Brandon University invites applications for a Tier 2 Canada Research Chair in Integrated<br>Watershed Management. The University seeks an individual with a PhD or appropriate<br>
terminal degree obtained within the last ten years, an outstanding research program, and<br>an established record of attracting competitively awarded research funding, including<br>Canadian Tri-Agency or similar national or international funding.<br>
<br>The successful candidate will conduct research and teach in the area of integrated<br>watershed management and build capacity to inform watershed governance and policy<br>development as they relate to shared water resources. The Chair will serve as a node to<br>
develop an interdisciplinary research network that will train highly qualified personnel and<br>include collaborations with existing departments, programs, and institutes at Brandon<br>University, within the regional prairie community, as well as nationally, and internationally.<br>
The candidate will have demonstrated an interdisciplinary appreciation for, and experience<br>in, the stewardship of watershed values and uses, such as those relating to water use and<br>conservation, recreation, land use, and urban and rural development. The candidate will<br>
also be expected to develop collaborations and participate in areas such as disaster risk<br>management; a burgeoning centre of excellence in watershed and water science; the<br>Master of Rural Development and the new Master of Science in Environmental and Life<br>
Sciences programs. The research program may be multi-jurisdictional or global and have<br>multi-stakeholder considerations such as Aboriginal and other communities, and fit within<br>the identified research priority area found within the Brandon University Strategic<br>
