The Department of Geography at Gustavus Adolphus College is
undertaking a
search for a tenure-track position of Assistant or Associate
Professor (with
appropriate qualifications) with specialization in Geographic
Information
Science (GIS) and physical geography, to begin September 1,
2014.<br>
<br>
Primary responsibilities will include introductory and advanced
courses in GIS
to contribute to our GIS minor and Geography major and courses
in physical
geography such as climatology, water resources, or soils. The
candidate will
have opportunity to develop a course in his or her area of
expertise and offer
short-term study abroad courses. We are particularly interested
in candidates
with an international perspective and a desire to work with our
interdisciplinary programs such as Environmental Studies.<u></u><u></u></span></p>
