Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry, the Department
of Atmospheric and Oceanic Sciences, and the Cooperative
Institute for Research in Environmental Sciences (CIRES)
at the University of Colorado Boulder invite applications
for a tenure-track faculty position at the Assistant
Professor level in Atmospheric/Environmental Chemistry.
The successful candidate will teach undergraduate and
graduate courses in his/her area of expertise and is
expected to develop a vigorous, externally-funded research
program. The research area is open within Atmospheric and
Environmental Chemistry. Sub-disciplines of particular
interest include retrieval and analysis of chemical
measurements from satellite instruments, box / regional /
global chemical transport modeling, chemistry in fog and
cloud droplets, and application of isotope tracers. A PhD
is required and postdoctoral experience is preferred.
