leadership position, the Chief Scientist. As a high-profile
position, the Chief Scientist will significantly contribute to
the world-class stature envisioned for CHARS.</span><span

you may recall, in August 2012, the Prime Minister announced
$46,200,000 over six years for the CHARS Science and Technology
(S&T) Program. It was also announced that an additional
$26,500,000 per year has been set aside, as of 2018-2019, for
the on-going program and operations of the station. This S&T
funding has allowed us to take the next step in the development
of the CHARS S&T program and the CHARS organization. </span><span
style="font-family:"Arial","sans-serif";color:black"><o:p></o:p></span></p>
