The Department of Geological Sciences at New Mexico State University invites applications for a 9-month Visiting Assistant Professor sabbatical replacement position beginning 19 August 2019.  The primary responsibility is teaching three courses each semester at the introductory through graduate levels.  New Mexico State University is located in the southern Rio Grande rift, which provides a natural laboratory for teaching geology.
