Clean Air Associate


The ICCT is pleased to announce the opening of a new entry-level program
associate position in its Clean Air Program and invites all eligible
applicants to apply. This position provides an exciting new opportunity for
a recent college graduate interested in international environmental and
energy work to apply their project management, technical writing, and
communication skills across multiple regions and activities. This position
will provide much-needed support in areas where this program seeks to grow
on zero emission urban fleets and on urban air pollution in megacities. The
ideal candidate will be a recent college graduate with at minimum a
bachelor's degree, excellent writing skills with knowledge of environmental
or energy topics, project management experience, written and/or spoken
fluency in two languages, international education or travel experience, and
demonstrated interest in solving our most pressing global health and
environmental challenges. This full-time position based in our San Francisco
office is best suited to someone with inventiveness, creativity,
resourcefulness, and curiosity willing to work hard and learn fast.


Responsibilities


*	Support research staff with the development of briefing papers, fact
sheets, and blog posts; support data collection, literature review, data
analysis, and other research activities;
*	Support the clean air lead and the communications director with the
development and implementation of a new communications strategy, including
an editorial calendar, drafts of blog posts and video scripts, and creation
of an audience database;
*	Support the clean air lead and the development director with
identification of new dedicated funding streams, including in emerging
regions and on cross-cutting areas such as communications and a new
fellowship/training program;
*	Support the clean air lead with project management, including team
scheduling, deliverables tracking, event planning, project reporting, and
budgeting.


Minimum Qualifications


*	Bachelor's degree from an accredited university;
*	Written and/or oral fluency in English and at least one other
language;
*	Demonstrated leadership experience, or experience managing teams;
*	Demonstrated experience collecting, analyzing and drawing
conclusions from data;
*	Excellent writing and oral presentation skills; experience working
in journalism or new media a plus;
*	International travel experience; coursework outside of the United
States a plus;
*	Interdisciplinary coursework or research background on topics that
can include energy, transportation, policy, climate change, public health,
international development, economics, or related fields.
