CIRES/Limnology Professional Research Assistant

The Center for Limnology, a unit of the Cooperative Institute for Research in Environmental Sciences (CIRES) at the University of Colorado Boulder, seeks a Research Assistant for a full time position. A Bachelor's Degree in Biology, Environmental Science, Chemistry, or a related field is required for this position; a valid driver's license, the ability to swim, and the ability to lift 40 pounds also are required. Prior college coursework in limnology and professional experience in limnology (e.g., including limnological sampling techniques, ion chromatography, automated wet-chemistry analysis) are preferred but not required for this position. The Research Assistant will support the Center's routine field operations and laboratory analytical services. This individual will help to maintain a safe working environment and will help train and supervise student employees.
