The Department of Atmospheric Sciences at the University of Washington
is seeking a full-time postdoctoral researcher (Research Associate 0148)
with research interests in Arctic climate, Arctic cyclones, sea ice
predictability, and programming in Python. This is a 12-month term
position, with possible extension depending on funding and performance.
The research is supported by ONR. The work will be supervised by
Professors Cecilia Bitz and Ed Blanchard-Wrigglesworth.

The successful applicant will work on several projects that pertain to
Arctic sea ice and atmospheric sciences. Experience using Python to
analyze climate data is required in this position to help us maintain
