Postdoctoral Position in Atmospheric Chemistry Modeling / Harvard University and Environmental Defense Fund (EDF).  The successful candidate will work on interpretation and inverse modeling of atmospheric methane observations from satellites to better understand and quantify the sources of methane. S/he will also have the opportunity to work on other projects in modeling of air quality and global atmospheric chemistry.  The position will be based in the Atmospheric Chemistry Modeling Group at Harvard but 50% of the appointment will be as an EDF High Meadows postdoctoral fellow working with EDF scientists to apply satellite data to methane emissions characterization in oil/gas fields. Applicants should have a Ph.D. in atmospheric chemistry with substantial experience in 3-D modeling. Applications will be reviewed by both Harvard and EDF.
