Job Summary:

The Summer Pre-College program is looking for an adjunct faculty to teach an Environmental Science and Sustainability course as part of the University's Summer Pre-College Program. Students will learn to address the challenges of balancing human needs with long-term effects on environmental systems. Students will learn about the basic principles of ecosystem function, climate change, water/air/soil pollution, and alternative sources of energy.
The course will be offered on our Teaneck Campus
Dates: July 22 to August 1, 2019 (Mon-Thurs)
Time: 1:30 PM to 5 PM

Required Qualifications:

* Understanding of ecological and human system interactions
* Interdisciplinary approach to issues involving sustainability and environmental science
* Experience with technology used to provide alternative sources of energy
Employment is contingent upon a satisfactory background check. Candidates for hire will be required to sign a waiver authorizing the background check and produce a Social Security Card.

Preferred Qualifications:

* Master's Degree or PhD in Environmental Science, Biology, Chemistry, Geology or related discipline
