Job Summary:

Luther College invites applications for a Teaching Fellowship in Environmental Studies. This is a one-semester, non-tenure-track, leave replacement position to begin August 28, 2019. Salary commensurate with credentials and experience.



Duties: The fellow will teach an upper-level Soils course with a field-based lab for environmental science students during the fall semester of 2019. The fellow will work with a teaching mentor during the semester and will have additional opportunities to be introduced to the nature of teaching and working in an undergraduate institution.



Qualifications:  Applicants should hold or be progressing toward a PhD in geoscience, environmental science, or a related field. The successful candidate will have a strong commitment to undergraduate teaching and a demonstrated ability to instruct and engage students in both classroom and field-based settings.
