The Water Resources program within the Department of Ecology is looking to fill three Streamflow Restoration Implementation Lead (Environmental Planner 4) positions. The positions are located in Lacey, WA.

The Streamflow Restoration Implementation Lead positions serve as senior environmental planners and Ecology stream flow restoration implementation leads for 1 - 2 watersheds in the Southwest Region. The positions will convene and chair Watershed Restoration and Enhancement Committees. The positions will be the primary Ecology point persons overseeing development of a watershed restoration and enhancement plan for the designated watershed and will manage the process in collaboration with committee members. The lead positions will coordinate and serve as a liaison with other state and local agencies, Tribal governments, and stakeholders within the watershed(s). The positions will also coordinate internally with technical experts. The objective of the planning process is to develop recommendations for projects and actions that will measure, protect, and enhance instream resources and improve watershed functions that support the recovery of threatened and endangered salmonids.
