. Job Description

Climate science can be complex.

We are looking for a reporter who deeply understands those complexities and
can write about them with great clarity:

. * This reporter will lead The Times's coverage of developments in
climate science and how that science is incorporated in policy changes.

. * This reporter must be able to write authoritatively on breaking
news, like new records in Earth's temperatures and large chunks of
Antarctica breaking off the continent.

. * And this reporter must be able to write analytically about
emerging trends, working closely with other climate science reporters who
write about the changing globe.

The position will be based in New York or Washington.

Those interested in this guild position should apply to the job posting in
Workday.

If you are an active employee at The New York Times or any affiliates
(excluding INYT), please do not apply here. Go to the Career Worklet on your
Workday home page and View "Find Internal Jobs". Thank you!
