*Two PhD positions in couple climate-carbon cycle modelling*

The Climate Research Lab in the Department of Geography at Simon Fraser
University (Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada), led by Dr. Kirsten
Zickfeld, invites applications from students interested in pursuing
Doctoral research about interactions between climate and the carbon
cycle, beginning January 1^st 2019.

The successful applicants will join a dynamic group with expertise in
Earth system modelling, climate dynamics and climate-carbon cycle
interactions on decadal to centennial timescales. Funding is available
for research in the following areas: (1) Reversibility of human-induced
climate change, (2) Effects of artificial atmospheric carbon dioxide
removal on the coupled climate-carbon cycle system, and (3) Carbon
budgets consistent with climate targets.
