Job Summary: The Program Coordinator - Research is responsible for assisting with the management of programs in the areas of Research.

Additional Department Summary: The Program Coordinator will help manage the day-to-day operations of the Remote Sensing Center, which has an annual budget of about $6 million and an average of 50 full- and part-time researchers, faculty, and students. The Coordinator will report to the Remote Sensing Center Director and Deputy Director. This is a full-time appointment subject to annual review and availability of funding for the position.

Department Required Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in the physical sciences, geosciences, electrical engineering, or aerospace engineering and three (3) years of experience, to include project management.

Skills and Knowledge: Demonstrated ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and meet project deadlines. Effective oral and written communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications: A Master's degree in the physical sciences, geosciences, electrical engineering, or aerospace engineering, with 3 years of professional experience in field of expertise and 3 years of project management experience. Technical writing experience. Experience working in a research center environment. Experience working in a University environment.
