We are currently seeking a Sustainability Analyst to be located in Stamford,
CT and report to the Senior Manager, Sustainability. Reporting to the Senior
Manager, Sustainability, the Sustainability Analyst supports the
coordination, implementation and certification all Nestle Waters North
America manufacturing facilities to the Alliance for Water Stewardship (AWS)


The Sustainability Analyst will work closely with the Technical & Production
team (especially Natural Resources Managers and Factory Managers) Corporate
Affairs and Brand teams and other related functions of the business in order
to achieve objectives. The position also acts as a liaison between the NiM
USA, NiM Canada and Zone AMS on subjects relevant to the role. 

Key responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
• Support the implementation of the AWS Standard as well as surveillance and
certification audit preparation of NWNA facilities. This includes: 
o Step 1 - Water stewardship commitment; 
o Step 2 - Gather and understand data; 
o Step 3 - Create a water stewardship plan; 
o Step 4 - Implement the water stewardship plan; 
o Step 5 - Evaluate water stewardship implementation; 
o Step 6 - Communicate and disclose water stewardship performance 
• Develop tools and templates to support assessment and AWS requirements
(e.g. guidelines for catchment delineation, AWS-ISO template, Community
Relations Process – AWS template) and maintain an internal document
management system to ensure clear and regular reporting 
• Maintain regular communication with internal AWS Stakeholders and act as
subject matter expert to address all questions and requests. 
• Participate in industry events, meetings and conferences to champion the
AWS Standard with key stakeholders (e.g water utilities and agencies, NGOs,
economic development councils etc.). 
• Support related objectives of the Sustainability team 

Qualifications

Key qualifications include: 
• Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university or college 
• Experience with ISO Management Systems required 
• Experience in manufacturing, consumer goods industry preferred 
• Minimum 4 years in management system design, implementation and/or
auditing 
• Minimum 4 years in environmental geoscience or hydrogeology 
• Minimum 4 years of project management experience 
• Minimum 2 years manufacturing experience
