 The Climate and Extreme Weather Laboratory

Atmospheric, and Planetary Sciences <http://www.eaps.purdue.edu/> (EAPS) at
Purdue University seeks a highly-motivated candidate for a two-year
post-doctoral
research position. Research will focus on using reduced-complexity models
to understand fundamental climate controls of severe thunderstorms on
Earth. Candidates with experience in climate modeling and large-scale
dynamics are particularly encouraged to apply.

Start date is flexible and will be an initial 12-month appointment with the
possibility of renewal pending satisfactory performance.

The successful candidate will work on problems at the interface between
extreme weather and climate and will be expected to present their work at
scientific conferences and lead authorship in journal publications.
