  The Department of Chemistry at Howard University invites applications for tenure-track assistant professor positions (2) in Chemistry beginning Fall 2018. While applications in all areas of chemistry will be considered, individuals in biochemistry-related fields are especially encouraged to apply. Qualified applicants will have a PhD and postdoctoral or equivalent experience. Teaching at the undergraduate and graduate (MS/PhD) levels and development of an externally funded research program in the area of specialization are expected. Candidates committed to working with underrepresented minorities in STEM disciplines are strongly encouraged to apply.

Interested candidates should submit a cover letter, curriculum vitae, statement of research goals, space/equipment needs, and a statement of teaching philosophy (with all documents in PDF form) to Faculty Search Committee, chemistrysearch at howard.edu<mailto:chemistrysearch at howard.edu>, and arrange for three letters of reference to be sent to the same address.  Application review will begin immediately.
