Please see ad for postdoc position below:

The Princeton Environmental Institute (PEI) (
http://web.princeton.edu/sites/PEI/) invites applications for a
postdoctoral research associate and/or more senior research position
focusing on microbial methane cycling. The main research goal will be to
determine how dynamic redox conditions affect nutrient availability and the
activity of key microbial functional groups in wetland systems. The
postdoc will be based in the laboratory of Dr. Xinning Zhang within the
Dept. of Geosciences (http://scholar.princeton.edu/xinningz/home) and will
work with a multi-disciplinary team of researchers affiliated with PEI’s
Carbon Mitigation Initiative to determine (a) macro- and micro- nutrient
requirements of key functional groups, (b) geochemical constraints on
nutrient availability, and (c) to integrate experimental findings into a
modeling framework.

Candidates are required to have a Ph.D. degree in environmental
microbiology, biogeochemistry, biochemistry, or a related field by the
start date of employment. Preferred research skills include analytical
chemistry (LC-MS, GC-MS), metabolic modeling, and cell culture techniques.
Appointments are for one year with the possibility of renewal based upon
satisfactory performance and continued funding. This position is subject to
the University's background check policy. Applicants must apply online
<https://www.princeton.edu/acad-positions/position/2101> and submit a cover
letter, curriculum vitae, a brief statement of research interest, and names
and contact information for three references.
