The Environmental Engineering program at Drexel University is seeking a
doctoral student to work on water quality and risk assessment for building
plumbing systems. This positon is part of an EPA-sponsored project
investigating a range of threats to building water quality include
corrosion of lead, growth of opportunistic pathogens, and formation of
disinfection byproducts (for information on the project team please see
https://building-water.org/). The student will be involved in a range of
research activities including assisting with microbiological analyses and
interpreting the data generated from these analyses using risk assessment
approaches.

The position offers tuition benefits and a stipend. Interested candidates
