Environmental field technician

 Immediate opening for a field technician to maintain an environmental
monitoring network in a remote area of Southern California.  Candidate
must have experience working with electronics, environmental
instrumentation, data loggers, and low voltage power systems.
Candidate must be organized, disciplined, self-motivated,
safety-conscious and possess excellent verbal and written
interpersonal communication skills.
 Candidate must be willing to work unsupervised in rugged conditions
with frequent exposure to harsh conditions including extreme
temperatures.  Exposure to hazardous environments is possible.  Safety
training and protective equipment will be provided by the employer and
the candidate must pass a related physical examination.  There is a
potential for long working hours outdoors.
