Diversity Post-Doctoral Fellowship Environmental and Ocean Sciences Dept.

USD seeks a recent Ph.D. (< 3 years) with a record of and commitment to
empowering students from communities that are underrepresented in academia
through research, teaching, service and/or mentoring. The EOSC Department
will sponsor a postdoctoral fellow who is specialized in either a) physical
environmental science (marine geology, aquatic geochemistry, coastal
geomorphology, sedimentology, climatology or geographic information
systems) or b) biological environmental science (ecology, marine biology,
biological oceanography, environmental biology, aquatic resources or field
ecology). In addition to conducting collaborative research, the fellow will
teach three courses per year including an introductory course (
http://www.sandiego.edu/cas/environmental-ocean-sciences/) and possibly an
upper-level specialty course. This is a full-time, 2-year temporary
position with the possibility of renewal for one year. Applications must be
