A graduate research position is open within the Atmospheric Sciences
Research Center (ASRC) at the State University of New York (SUNY) in
Albany. This research position will include laboratory experiments at the
ASRC and field measurements at the White Face Mountain Summit Research
Laboratory in the Adirondacks. The laboratory and field measurements will
complement each other, as both will revolve around organic aerosol
formation via heterogeneous chemical reactions within cloud droplets, with
relevance for air quality and climate change. Instrumentation available
include a high resolution aerosol mass spectrometer, cloud condensation
nuclei counters, and counterflow virtual impactor, as well as development
of a novel instrument to probe the chemical composition of individual
levitated droplets.

Interested applicants should contact Dr. Sara Lance at smlance at albany.edu

Applications must be received by Feb 1, 2017. Priority will be given to
