Chemical Engineering and Applied Chemistry, University of Toronto **

A post-doctoral position is available to start in early 2017 at the 
Department of Chemical Engineering and Applied Chemistry at University 
of Toronto. The postdoctoral fellow will lead a study to investigate 
exposure to residual fire ash in post-wildfire urban areas. Duties 
include but are not limited to: collection and chemical analysis of 
environmental samples, evaluating toxicological response, supervising 
graduate students and communicating findings to local communities. A 
Ph.D. degree in chemistry, environmental sciences, toxicology or a 
related field within the last 5 years (or within 1 year of graduation), 
and strong oral and written communication skills are required. 
Experience with dust sampling, analysis using GC/MS, LC/MS, ICP/MS, 
and/or aerosol chemistry are highly desired. Interested candidates
