Scientific Aviation currently has an opening for a science technician
based in Boulder. This position will involve extensive field work
(travel), both on commercial airplanes and company owned light aircraft.
Responsibilities include field calibrations, data analysis, logistics
and coordination. Requirements include a bachelor's degree in one of the
geosciences (preferably atmospheric science or chemistry), familiarity
with a programming language (preferably Python) and you need to be a
"people" person (we work with a lot of science teams).

The aircraft we operate (Mooneys) are extremely weight sensitive -
limiting crew crewmembers to 180 pounds. Most of all, you need to be
comfortable flying - because that's all we do! This is a fun environment
to work in (we even have foosball!), but the work is VERY challenging
(i.e. you'll need all that stuff you learned in college). If this sounds
like something you might be interested in, send me a resume and a cover
letter showing your best writing (we do that too!).

We are located in the main terminal building of the Boulder Municipal
Airport, feel free to drop off your resume in person. For more details
about what we do, check out www.ScientificAviation.com

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $3,000.00 /month
