Assistant Professor, Evolutionary Biology - Department of Biological 
Sciences

Job Description

    The Division of Natural Sciences and Mathematics at the University
    of Denver has been expanding our Molecular Life Sciences Initiative
    with 14 tenure-track hires in recent years. The Department of
    Biological Sciences, University of Denver, invites applications for
    a tenure-track position at the Assistant Professor level to begin
    September 1, 2017. Candidates with expertise in any area of
    Evolutionary Biology are sought.

    *Essential Functions*

      * Develop a vibrant externally funded research program.
      * Supervise undergraduate research projects and M.S. and Ph.D.
        students.
      * Teach undergraduate and graduate courses in evolutionary biology
        and specific areas of specialty.

    *Required Qualifications*

      * Ph.D. and post-doctoral experience in an appropriate field.
      * Demonstrated commitment to or experience working with diverse
        populations.
