*Adjunct Faculty Needed for Fall 2016, American University*
The Department of Environmental Science at American University is planning
to hire adjunct faculty to teach during the Fall 2016 semester. The adjunct
will teach an introductory level, non-majors course titled *Sustainable
Earth*. As such, we are looking for a dynamic teacher, with experience or
interest in using a range of teaching modes in addition to lecturing.

*Additional Details:*
The Fall 2016 semester starts Monday August, 29th. Fall classes end December
9th with exams taking place during December 12 – 19th.

ENVS-150 SUSTAINABLE EARTH FA5 (4) Tues/Fri 9:45 – 11 AM
Course Level: Undergraduate (enrollment cap: 45)
This course examines the issue of sustainability; what it means, how it is
measured, and how it can be used to address environmental challenges. In
doing so, the course builds on the most current scientific understanding of
how the natural world works.
