A post-doctoral Research Fellowship in Ecosystem Ecology is available at
the University of Kansas working with Dr. Terry Loecke and Dr. Amy Burgin.
The successful applicant will contribute to the success of a recently
NSF-funded project to explore how biogeochemical processes in terrestrial
and aquatic ecosystems influence fluxes of key greenhouse gases to the
atmosphere, using laboratory, field, and/or modeling approaches. The
post-doctoral researcher will have the opportunity to build on any of
several on-going projects, based on his or her skillsets.

Ph.D. at the time of appointment in ecosystem ecology, Earth system
science, biogeochemistry or a related field.
Experience measuring or modeling fluxes of Greenhouse gases.
Knowledge of soil or aquatic biogeochemistry.
Excellent mathematical and spoken and written English language skills.

NOTE: To be appointed at the Postdoctoral Researcher title, it is
necessary to have the PhD conferred at the time of hire. Appointments made
