*Two-year position:  Visiting Assistant Professor in Water Resources
Appointment Type:  Non-regular Rank Nicolas School of the Environment Duke
University*

The Nicholas School of the Environment is searching for a Visiting
Assistant Professor in water resources, hydrology, or closely related
discipline, to start August, 2016.  This is a term position currently
planned for at least two years.  Responsibilities will include:  1)
teaching three Master of Environmental Management water resources courses
per year, 2) significant academic and career advising for professional
Master’s students, and 3) advising of required Master’s projects.  Specific
courses will include hydrology, a water management course, and an
additional course in the lecturer's area of expertise.  Interaction with
upper level undergraduate and Ph.D. students is also possible.  Applicants
must be available to teach in the 2016 fall semester, with start date
flexible to allow preparation of courses. Professional experience outside
academia is preferred, but not required.
