Graduate Research Assistantships in Environmental Toxicology
Agency: Center for Fisheries, Aquaculture and Aquatic Sciences, Department of Zoology at Southern Illinois University

Location: Carbondale, IL

Job Description: Seeking two motivated graduate students to join an active environmental toxicology group. Potential research topics include development of resistance in non-target aquatic species and sublethal impacts of pesticides on bee health.

Qualifications: Undergraduate degree in Zoology, Entomology, Chemistry, Toxicology or related field. Desired qualifications include experience with toxicological bioassays, culturing of aquatic organisms, and/or analytical instrumentation with data analysis (GC/HPLC). Good writing and oral skills required.

Salary: Research assistantships will include a competitive salary, full tuition waiver, health benefits and support for the proposed research.

Last Date to apply: March 4, 2016. Starting dates are Summer through Fall 2016.
