*M.Sc. position in Geography at McGill University*

I am seeking applications for a funded Master of Science (M.Sc.) position
to work with my lab on topics related to agricultural land use and
management. This M.Sc. degree position will begin in fall 2016 and will be
based in the Department of Geography at McGill University, in Montreal,
Canada.

I invite inquiries from potential applicants interested in working on one
of the core themes in my lab, especially at a regional or global scale:

   - *Coupled biogeochemical cycles in human-dominated landscapes*,
   including nitrogen and phosphorus management in agroecosystems.
   - *Agriculture and urbanization*, including analysis of how urban growth
   impacts agricultural land use or nutrient cycling.
   - *Climate change and food security*, including the effects of climate
   variability and extreme weather on global crop trade networks.

Interested applicants should send a cover letter outlining research
interests and any relevant experience (including coursework in GIS and/or
statistics), unofficial transcript(s), as well as a CV *no later than
Friday, April 29, 2016*, in order to ensure consideration for the fall 2016
