Dear Colleagues,

The USDA Caribbean Climate Hub is participating in the USDA Climate Hub
Fellows Program and we are looking for a candidate with skills and
experience modeling the potential effects of changing climate and climate
variability on various aspects of tropical agriculture and forestry.
Specific areas of interest may include understanding impacts of decreasing
or more variable water availability, salinization impacts on agriculture,
modeling shifting distributions of pests and optimal growing regions,
analyzing the relationships of economic risk and climate - particularly
with respect to how climate adaptation practices may reduce risk, or
assessing carbon cycling with respect to agricultural lands and practices.

The deadline for submission is November 20, 2015. See attachment for
details. Selected candidate will be employed in a term position with the US
Forest Service and stationed at the International Institute of Tropical
Forestry in Río Piedras, Puerto Rico. If interested please contact me soon
to let me know of your interest and qualifications (Ph.D. required). Please
share with others who may be interested.

Sincerely,

William Gould
