The Department of Geology & Geophysics at Yale University invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor appointment in the broad area of geochemistry. Relevant fields include (but are not limited to) processes of the solid Earth, oceans, atmosphere, and biosphere; geochemical cycling; reaction rates; numerical modeling; analytical innovations; origin of life; and planetary evolution.

We seek candidates with outstanding prospects for research, scholarly leadership, and teaching excellence who will complement the existing strengths of the Department. A successful applicant will develop and implement independent, externally-funded research programs, teach and advise students, and facilitate interdisciplinary research.
