UNIVERSITY OF ALASKA FAIRBANKS DEPARTMENT OF CHEMISTRY AND BIOCHEMISTRY
and the GEOPHYSICAL INSTITUTE invite applications for a tenure track
position at the Assistant / Associate Professor level in the area of
Atmospheric / Environmental Chemistry to complement other members of the
Environmental Chemistry Graduate Program and Atmospheric Science or
Geochemistry research at the Geophysical Institute. The anticipated
start date is Fall 2016. Candidates should hold a Ph.D. in Chemistry or
related discipline; postdoctoral experience is preferred. The successful
candidate is expected to establish an externally funded research
program, mentor graduate and undergraduate students, and teach at both
the graduate and undergraduate levels. Graduate teaching should be in
Environmental Chemistry, and undergraduate teaching expertise in
physical / analytical / general chemistry is preferred. To apply, visit
