Last chance to apply for 1 of 7 postdoc positions with the Earth League in an international team working on global sustainability
DEADLINE 1st MAY

The Earth League is advancing the next generation of integrated Earth system science, through an international World-Earth systems program. We invite brilliant young scientists from across the globe to apply for a position within an international team of 7 postdocs, i.e. the Earth-Docs, to embark on this state-of-the-art research project.

The World-Earth systems program will essentially ignite a critical deep fusion of biophysical and human worlds.

Johan Rockström, Chair of the Earth League and Director of the Stockholm Resilience Center, commented, “This initiation of a new generation of science is in response to the urgent need to deepen our understanding of pathways towards future world development on a resilient and stable planet. It will deepen our understanding of global risks and opportunities, and inform potential transformative pathways forward”.

The postdoc researchers will be hosted by the following 5 institutions:
