*Our client is seeking a PROJECT AIR QUALITY SCIENTIST to work within 
their facilities located in Arvada, CO.*

-This client brings a multi-disciplinary approach to environmental 
problems involving soil, groundwater, wastewater, air, and structures. 
The goal of every project conducted by this client is to identify and 
eliminate environmental liabilities while allowing our clients to 
maintain normal business operations.

*The Role You Will Play*

**

-Our client is seeking an Air Quality Scientist/Engineer with 5+ years 
of experience in the environmental industry focusing on air quality 
issues, such as air permitting applications, compiling emission 
inventories, and summarizing state and federal air quality regulations. 
Other duties may include but not be limited to the following tasks: Data 
entry and analysis, report writing, QA/QC documentation and processes, 
completing due diligence assessments.

*Qualifications*

-Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science or Environmental Engineering 
or related field.

-Experience with oil & gas operations is a plus

-Strong sense of technical accuracy

-Ability to effectively communicate technical issues (written and oral)

-Management skills, people skills

-Ability to work independently to develop approaches to solutions and 
obtain management approval for implementation

-Experience in air emissions permitting is preferred

-We are looking for a candidate with experience in tracking, preparing, 
and reviewing air quality emission inventories, and validating results 
of environmental compliance inspections.

-Experience with infrared (IR) monitoring a plus; analyzing IR 
monitoring data collected during the site assessment and interpreting 
results for inclusion in any reports.

-By working in close partnership with clients, this position will serve 
as an extension of their staff in providing expertise and technical 
support and advice.

-Design, plan, and perform engineering duties related to air quality 
permitting and compliance, including:

-Complex technical work to obtain air permits and ensure compliance with 
environmental requirements associated with natural gas gathering and 
processing operations.

-Complete air quality assessments, including data analysis, emission 
inventory, and due diligence evaluations

-Field work, including site-wide assessments of on-site equipment

-Knowledge of FLIR camera technology and IR monitoring and interpreting 
results a plus

-Business development and client support

-Prepare proposals

-Training of Staff Air Quality Specialists
