> The Department of Geography is seeking applications for a full-time tenure-track professor position, at the rank of assistant or associate professor in Fluvial Geomorphology, Environmental Hydrology or Watersheds Studies.

> Responsibilities: The appointed candidate will be expected to teach at all three levels of the curriculum, supervise graduate students, engage in ongoing research and publication, and contribute to the academic life and reputation of the University.

> Requirements:
> - PhD in Physical Geography or in a related field of Natural Sciences.
> - Significant publications in the field of Fluvial Geomorphology, Environmental Hydrology or Watersheds Studies.
> - Teaching experience.
> - The successful candidate must present a high-quality research program in Dynamics of Rivers or of Watersheds. A research program centered on Nordic or cold environments would be an asset.
> - Proficiency in the French language. The Université de Montréal is a Québec university with an international reputation. French is the language of instruction.
