Dear Colleagues,

The deadline for submitting topic proposals to the Junior Faculty
Forum 2008 has been extended through 3 December 2007. Feel free to
contact us if you are interested or have questions, or want to
discuss topics before making a proposal.

Planning a topic for the Junior Faculty Forum is a great opportunity
to further discussion on a research topic you are interested in. It
initiates new collaborations between scientists at NCAR and
universities and sets ground for the planning of future projects and
proposals with other young scientists.

The Forum is also a great chance to gain experience in organizing
meetings. We encourage people with no experience to make use of this
opportunity. NCAR's ASP (Advanced Study Program) provides full
administrative and logistical support as well as financial support
for participants. What is required from your part is help with
planning the scientific content of a topic session.

The 2008 Junior Faculty Forum will be held at NCAR (National Center
for Atmospheric Research, Boulder, CO) during the week of July 7-11,
2008.

More details about the Junior Faculty Forum 2008 and on past Forums
can be found on http://www.asp.ucar.edu/ecsa/jff/jff08.jsp.

Best regards.
