<font face="arial, sans-serif"><br>Note that individual workshops (not Grand Challenge workshops) will be<br>2 hours in duration and proposals must include the following:<br><br>1) Title of the proposed workshop<br>2) List of potential conveners<br>3) Description of the proposed workshop geared to the broad CEDAR audience<br>4) Justification for the proposed workshop<br>a. Identify the relevant CEDAR Science Challenge that the workshop<br>addresses and describe:<br>    i.   How the associated questions will be addressed,<br>    ii.  What resources exist, are planned, and/or are needed,<br>    iii. How progress should be measured.<br>b. Justification for the workshop - Articulate a challenge and its<br>significance and fit with <a href="http://cedarweb.hao.ucar.edu/wiki/index.php/Community:CEDAR_Strategic_Plan">2011 CEDAR Strategic Plan</a>,<br> the 2012  <a href="http://sites.nationalacademies.org/ssb/currentprojects/ssb_056864">DecadalSurvey for Solar and Space Physics</a>,<br>and the<a href="http://cedarweb.hao.ucar.edu/wiki/images/9/9f/NSF_GS_Plan_June_2013.pdf"> 2013 NSF Geospace Science Plan</a><br>5) Format of the workshop (see Guidelines for Conveners)<br>6) Anticipated attendance<br><br>Please refer to the CEDAR <a href="http://cedarweb.vsp.ucar.edu/wiki/index.php/Workshop:Guidelines">Workshop Guidelines for Conveners</a> for<br>additional details.<br><br>Please send questions to maute at <a href="http://ucar.edu">ucar.edu</a>.</font></pre></div>
