We invite you to submit a paper to Fall AGU session SM003:

Visions of Future Innovation Across Space Physics and Aeronomy

Our field is poised to make a leap forward by being able to take advantage of the proliferation of inexpensive sensors and observing platforms. This has the potential to revolutionize our ability to capture cross-scale interactions that underlie energy flow
within the geospace system. The growth in sensing technologies and data sources connect well with the emergence of ubiquitous broad-band connectivity and cloud-computing architectures. However, long-term and disruptive innovation is critical but not often prioritized.
As our field evolves, the need to exploit new ideas becomes both more important and more difficult.

This session invites bold presentations on all aspects of scientific innovation, from Cubesats to diversity, including new approaches that identify and address scientific gaps and interdisciplinary opportunities. How do we evolve beyond current
traditional methods in order to innovate into the future? We invite diverse, specific visions of scientific innovation at this venue, as a stepping stone to larger discussion.
