This session attempts to address some of the longstanding questions: - what are the controlling factors that cause strong longitudinal dependence of low latitudes electrodynamics? - what is the variability of these controlling factors on different temporal scales, from daily to seasonal and intraseasonal? - how low latitude electrodynamics modifies the global electron density structures and irregularities at low and middle latitudes? We welcome papers (both modeling and observation) that describe progress in understanding equatorial electrodynamics and coupling processes that improve our ability to unravel the variability of equatorial ionosphere with longitude and to forecast global ionospheric irregularities/scintillations and ambient electron density.</div><div class="gmail-sessionItem" style="border:0px;margin:0px 0px 15px;padding:0px"><div class="gmail_default"><span style="color:rgb(0,0,255);font-size:small;font-family:"comic sans ms",sans-serif"></span><font face="comic sans ms, sans-serif" color="#000000">Best regards,</font></div><div class="gmail_default" style="color:rgb(0,0,255)"><font face="comic sans ms, sans-serif"><span class="gmail-topdisplay_role" style="font-weight:bold;color:rgb(51,51,51);border:0px;margin:0px;padding:0px;vertical-align:top"><div class="gmail_default" style="color:rgb(0,0,255);display:inline"></div></span><span style="font-weight:bold;color:rgb(51,51,51);border:0px;margin:0px;padding:0px"><div class="gmail_default" style="color:rgb(0,0,255);display:inline"></div></span><span style="color:rgb(51,51,51);border:0px;margin:0px;padding:0px">Larisa Goncharenko<b>, </b></span><span style="color:rgb(51,51,51);border:0px;margin:0px;padding:0px">Joseph Huba</span><span style="color:rgb(51,51,51)">, </span><span style="color:rgb(51,51,51)"> </span><span style="color:rgb(51,51,51);border:0px;margin:0px;padding:0px">Hanli Liu</span><span style="color:rgb(51,51,51)">, and </span><span style="color:rgb(51,51,51);border:0px;margin:0px;padding:0px">Endawoke Yizengaw<div class="gmail_default" style="color:rgb(0,0,255);display:inline"></div></span></font></div></div></div>-- <br><div class="gmail_signature"><div dir="ltr"><div><div dir="ltr"><font face="comic sans ms, sans-serif" color="#0000ff">* * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * *<br>* * Endawoke Yizengaw (PhD)<br>* * Senior Scientist of Space Science<br>* * Institute for Scientific Research<br>* * Boston College<br>* * 140 Commonwealth Avenue<br>* * Chestnut Hill, MA 02467-3862<br>* * Phone: 617-552-0146; FAX: 617-552-2818<br>* * Email: <a href="mailto:kassie@bc.edu" target="_blank">kassie@bc.edu</a> <br>* * URL: <a href="http://www2.bc.edu/~kassie/" target="_blank">http://www2.bc.edu/endawoke-kassie/</a> <br>* * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * </font></div></div></div></div>
