<p class="MsoPlainText">The U.S. Basu award honors young scientists who have demonstrated scientific success in studying the plasma physical processes that couple Earth's atmosphere to driving mechanisms in the magnetosphere, solar wind, and Sun.<o:p></o:p></p>
