There have been new advances in the understanding and investigation of these wave phenomena and related processes from both observational and numerical modeling perspectives in recent years. Topics of interests include, but are not limited to, short-term (day-to-day) or long-term variability induced by waves, coupled chemical and dynamical processes, wave energy budgets, wave-driven airglow variations, special wave-like events such as atmospheric bores, and processes coupling the lower and upper atmospheres caused by tsunamis, earthquakes, and sudden stratospheric warmings. We welcome experimentalists and theorists to share their research findings for stimulating discussions. <o:p></o:p></SPAN></P>
