Dear colleagues,

We would like to draw your attention to the following interdisciplinary session at the EGU General Assembly 2018 in Vienna and invite you to consider submitting an abstract to it:

ST3.5/EMRP4.33/G4.4
Dynamics and interaction of processes in Earth and its space environment: perspectives from low-Earth orbiting satellites and beyond (co-organized)

Recent low-Earth orbiting satellite missions such as CHAMP, GRACE, GOCE and Swarm provide a wealth of data to study dynamic processes in the Earth and its space environment. They are used to investigate variations in Earth's interior, the atmosphere, the ocean, and in near-Earth space. These variations affect in particular Earth's magnetic and gravity fields. Special emphasis is given to gain new insight from studying interactions of these processes. The session invites contributions on any of the subjects, in particular by combining two or more aspects of magnetosphere/ionosphere and thermosphere/ionosphere coupling, magnetic field and gravity studies. Contributions involving complementary observations from other satellite missions and ground stations as well as empirical and physical models to gain better process understanding are likewise highly welcome.

Abstracts can be directly submitted from
http://meetingorganizer.copernicus.org/EGU2018/session/27241/
The abstract submission deadline is 10 January 2018, 13:00 CET.

Looking forward seeing you there,
the conveners Claudia Stolle, Jorge Chau, Monika Korte, Juergen Kusche, Hermann Luehr and Joachim Vogt
