CEDAR email: Call for participation in GEM-CEDAR Modeling Challenge Session at 2016 mini-GEM Workshop

We would like to invite you to participate in the CEDAR-GEM Modeling Challenge Session at the 2016 mini-GEM Workshop. The session will be held on 11 December, 2016 (03:30-05:00 pm, in the California Room of the Holiday Inn San Francisco-Golden Gateway, 1500 Van Ness Avenue, San Francisco), before the Fall AGU Meeting.

Potential topics for discussion:

  *   Modeling challenges in Ionospheric/Thermospheric disturbances:
     *   foF2/NmF2,
     *   TEC,
     *   Scintillation,
     *   Satellite drag
  *   Quantification of storm disturbances:
     *   Climatology study
  *   Validation of TEC:
     *   TEC biases
     *   Plasmasphere contribution
     *   Metrics
  *   Effects of high latitude drivers on Ionosphere/Thermosphere
  *   Modeling challenges in auroral region
  *   Uncertainty and sensitivity analysis

Please let us know If you are interested in presenting your thoughts and ideas, and you have suggestions or comments on the GEM-CEDAR Modeling Challenge.
