Dear Colleagues,

We invite you to submit a paper to the 1st URSI Atlantic Radio Science
Conference to be held May18-22, 2015 in Gran Canaria, Canary Islands.
Specifically we invite you to submit a paper to the following special
session for Commission G: Ionospheric Radio and Propagation.

Ionospheric Effects on GNSS Systems at Low-latitudes

Session Chairs: Sandro Radicella, ICTP, Italy and Patricia Doherty, Boston
College, USA

Session Description:Large variations in ionospheric delays are localized
irregularities caused by ionospheric dynamics are a common feature at low
latitudes and they affect in a peculiar way the radio frequencies used in
Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS) operations. The effects of
ionospheric variability on GNSS covers signal group delay, scintillation
and Faraday rotation. In recent years, the investigation of these effects
has increased dramatically in those countries that are under the low
latitude ionosphere. The scope of this session is to encourage scientists
working in the field to present their most recent results on the low
latitude effects on GNSS operations.

We sincerely hope to see you in Gran Canaria. Travel to Gran Canaria from
and via Europe is very convenient and relatively inexpensive. Papers can be
submitted through http://www.at-rasc.com until December 15, 2014.

We very much look forward to seeing you in Gran Canaria.

Sandro Radicella and Patricia Doherty
