Job Opening: ERAU Tenure-track Faculty Position in Engineering Physics

 

The Physical Sciences Department at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University
invites applications for an assistant professor tenure-track faculty
position to begin in the fall of 2012.  We are seeking candidates with
broad expertise in experimental or observational research matching our
existing areas of focus including dynamics and control, spacecraft
instrumentation, space physics, upper atmosphere physics and remote
sensing.

 

The successful candidate should have a Ph.D. in physics, engineering or
a closely related field, have a promising research record and is
expected to pursue an externally funded research program.  

 

The Physical Sciences Department offers BS, MS and PhD degrees in
Engineering Physics and a BS degree in Space Physics; the candidate
should therefore have a strong interest in teaching engineering and
physics topics at both the undergraduate and graduate levels.
