I am using CCM3 ( version ccm3.10.11_3.6.6)
I am trying to write five-day averages into the history file
using the following options:
nhtfrq   = 360
mfilt    =   6

However, it does not work

I will really appreciate any help with this

Elena;

Don't know if you're using ccm3.10.11.brnchT.366physics.7 (this one is
preferable) or ccm3.10.11.brnchT.366physics.4.  I was able to run each on
NCAR's IBM SP and get proper behavior using the settings you specify below in
the example run script run.ibm.sp3.csh provided with each distribution.  If
you can provide more descriptive info than "It does not work" perhaps we
could be of more help.

Subject: [ccm-users] INITHIST causes CCM to hang at the end of 1 month

Hello All,

	If INITHIST is set to anything but NONE, CCM will hang at the end of the 
month with only 

 (OPNFIL): Successfully opened file ccmr_00200201_00000 on unit=             2
 (OPNFIL): Successfully opened file ccmr_00200201_00000.A on unit=
            3

in the output.  I noticed that someone else complained about this error, but 
had not linked it with INITHIST.  I've tried several permutations in the name 
list file, but i get the same thing every time.  My setup is coupled with a 
slab ocean, but it happens when CCM just uses its own SST values with no 
coupling.

I'm running on a Linux Cluster, and compiling with PGF77 and 90

Also, is there a way to change the starting date on a branch run?
